Policies

Late Arrivals:  Late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled treatment times and will be responsible for the full service fee.

Cancellation/Missed Appointment:   Appointment times have been reserved exclusively for you.   A 24-hour cancellation notice is requested.  Full payment is expected for all missed appointments and cancellations within 24 hours of your scheduled session.

Payments Accepted:  Cash, personal check, and the following credit cards:  Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Returned Check:  $35 will be added to returned checks.

Massage Intention: Massage is provided for the basic purpose of relaxation and the relief of muscular tension.  If the client experiences any pain or discomfort during the session, they will immediately inform the practitioner so that pressure/stroke may be adjusted to their level of comfort. Massage should not be construed as a substitute for medical or chiropractic examination, diagnosis or treatment.  Because massage should not be performed under certain medical conditions, the client should reveal all known conditions and answer all questions on the Health Intake Form honestly. The client should keep the practitioner updated as to any changes in their medical/health status.

Terminate Session: Sacred Space has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual advances and reserves the right to terminate any session if deemed necessary.  If the client is uncomfortable for any reason, they may ask for the session to cease and the practitioner will end the session immediately.
 
Confidentiality:  It is the policy of Sacred Space to respect and maintain the privacy and confidentiality of the client; to disclose the client's record or information about the client only with the client's consent or as required by law; and to adequately safeguard confidential client information, including storage and disposal of records.
